Electronics engineer

DEFTECH Azerbaijan is looking for a senior electronics engineer to work on defence-industry and unmanned aircraft (UAV) projects.

• Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of electronics and circuit design
• Independent design and analysis of electronic circuits
• PCB schematic and layout from scratch
• Professional use of KiCad, Altium Designer, Eagle or similar tools
• 2-layer and multi-layer PCB design experience
• MCU-based systems: STM32, ESP32, AVR, PIC
• UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, RS232, RS485 interfaces
• DC/DC converters, LDO, MOSFET, relay, sensor and power-management circuits
• Oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer and other instruments
• PCB bring-up, debugging and component-level repair
• EMI/EMC, grounding, filtering, signal integrity and power integrity
• Reading and applying datasheets and reference designs
• Soldering, SMD work and prototyping

• Design of UAV/PUA electronic systems
• Flight controller and avionics systems
• Integration of GPS/GNSS, IMU, barometer, compass and other sensors
• Telemetry and RF systems
• ESC, BLDC motors and power-distribution systems
• MAVLink/CAN/UART avionics integration
• Testing embedded systems on real flight platforms
• Reliable electronics for vibration, temperature and electromagnetic interference
